She regularly represents defendants accused of the rape and abuse of family members, including a 58-year old accused of rape of his 13-year old step granddaughter, a male accused of raping his sisters, a 76-year old charged with serious abuse of his grandchildren, and rape of a psychiatric patient.
In addition, Patricia has conducted numerous trials involving the sexual abuse of several victims, historical allegations, gross indecency, and internet pornography.
Kidnapping: She has been instructed in several Chinese multi-handers involving "snakehead" gangs, including a 5-month, 14-hander organised crime group investigation, with seven victims, blackmail and false imprisonment. Patricia also represented a defendant accused of the knifepoint abduction of a young woman in her own car.
Drugs: Patricia defended in a 14-hander conspiracy to import and supply 14 kg of cocaine, and an 8-hander conspiracy to supply heroin.

Patricia also has extensive experience of cases involving allegations of causing death by dangerous driving, car-ringing, violent disorder and arson. She has also been instructed in a number of cases involving fitness to plead issues and clients with serious mental health issues. She represented a patient at Broadmoor accused of GBH, and represented another man who was severely mentally impaired accused of sexual abuse of a child. A voluntary care plan with the local authority was successfully negotiated and the case left on the file.
